Gowanus Experiment 119 8th St Suite 205 Brooklyn , New York
Old time religions had “revivals”: fun, musical, powerful gatherings where the “faithful” could come together to hear the message of their path, bang on tambourines, sing, and praise the Lord with loud voices.
Well….our tribe doesn’t have a “religion”. We are lovers of the Truth, we are yogis, we are lovers of God, we are seekers of wholeness and Love. We don’t have a church or a religion, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get together and “Praise the Love”.
Come to the new Gowanus Experiment for a joyous, healing, informal time of praise and celebration. David Harshada Wagner will be in town and will offer a dharma talk and introduce the practice of ecstatic chanting (namasankirtana – also known as kirtan). Special guests will be leading the kirtan and aftereward David will lead a heart-melting meditation for us all. Bring your friends, leave your resistance.
Event at The Gowanus Experiment Suite 205. A host will be there until 15 minutes after we begin. After that use this code to get in door ##06798 Or text 917-863-4136
The location is between 2nd and 3rd Avenues
